The Boeing Company’s Specialized United States Infrastructure Operations organization is currently seeking a Mid-Level Systems Administrator to join the team in Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO.

This position will install, operate, secure and maintain dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure that is required to deliver products to our customers.

As a Systems Administrator, your expertise will play a crucial role in integrating logistics, manufacturing, and engineering into a cohesive ecosystem. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of a secure network that supports all tools and, more importantly, the personnel involved in this mission.

This role directly supports our Air Dominance (AD) programs. You will be tasked with installing, operating, securing, and maintaining the dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure necessary for delivering products to our customers. We offer Enterprise capabilities within closed networks, encompassing standard office functions, application development stacks, engineering workflows, vulnerability remediation, and more.

Position Responsibilities:

Analyze and support a broad range of basic systems and application support activities

Provide support for Windows Operating Systems (OS)

Provide basic network support

Support of VMware ESX environments

Provide operations support for both servers and desktop systems

Provide analysis of computing requirements

Install, configure, and maintain systems hardware, software and components

Ensure computing inventory tracking and shipping

Document and implement computer applications

Provide restoration of basic computing service operation

Support activities to ensure security of information and systems

Provide comprehensive computing support in closed environments

Protect classified and proprietary information

Support security audits as assigned

Maintain knowledge of various government and corporate security plans

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements)

3+ years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server 2016-2022 Windows 10)

3+years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2016 - 2019 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 10

3+ years of experience in performing hardware installation, modification and testing

3+ years of experience implementing software

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience designing & implementing Windows Systems

3+ years of experience troubleshooting operating system and installation problems

3+ years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support

Experience with maintaining/configuring AD to include applying domain group policies

Experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

Experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware

Experience evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolution

Experience Integrating security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $88,400 – $119,600
