Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Responsibilities:  

Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutionsApplies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chainAnalyzes complex material requirementsUnderstands and can implements lean flow processesVerifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production planDetermines part number attributesInitiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availabilityDrives regulatory complianceEnsures on-time deliveryCreates standard procedures, trains to standards, implements and follows up with checks and balancesDocuments and resolves order delinquenciesReports schedule adherence issuesDevelops relationships with program to provide satisfactory customer serviceDevelops and controls inventory plansOptimizes inventory levelsAnalyzes and dispositions excess inventoriesInitiates auditsDevelops and creates schedules for products and servicesAssists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposalsImplements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performanceWorks under general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).More than 3 years of experience in supply chain, planning, and/or materials management.More than 1 year working in a manufacturing environment.More than 1 year of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher.More than 1 year of experience using SQL.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Summary pay range: $76,500-$94,500
