Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level or Experienced Procurement Agent to support the Major Suppliers and Strategic Contracting!

Position Responsibilities:  

Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditionsPrepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier managementMore than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 5 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or BuyerMore than 5 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Mesa, AZ; Hazelwood, MO:

Mid-Level (Level 3)$74,800– $92,400

Experienced (Level 4):  $95,200 - $117,600

Tukwila, WA; Everett, WA;  El Segundo, CA; Ridley Park, PA:        

Mid-Level (Level 3): $79,900-$98,700

Experienced (Level 4):  $102,000-$126,000
