The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a knowledgeable Mid-Level Multi-Skill Engineering Manager to join our team in El Segundo, CA. You’ll have the opportunity to manage the Launch Team, including the Launch Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL), across all Government and Satellite programs for the site.
This manager will be responsible for the Launch Integrated Product Team (IPT) Subject Matter Experts for satellite process documentation related to launch-related activities and for the ensuring of common engineering processes. This position will also forecast resource needs and manage personnel, facilities, services, equipment, and tools to meet program launch campaign requirements.

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.5+ years of experience in aerospace production and maintenance.1+ years of experience managing people, programs, and budgets.3+ years of leadership experience.Experience in engineering to include experience with Spacecraft or launch vehicle fabrication, integration and operations.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master’s degree or higher in an Engineering field.Minimum 2 years of front-line manager experience.Proactively and quickly makes sense of complex issues and data while responding effectively to complex and ambiguous situations.Experience leading diverse teams in a collaborative, respectful, and innovative environment.Experience leading interdisciplinary initiatives to improve the value stream.Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, internally and externally.Ability to build a safe environment of inclusion, transparency, and trust.Experience leading diverse teams in a collaborative, respectful, and innovative environment.Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $166,600 - $225,400
