The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level Minuteman Propulsion Systems Engineer to join the Strategic Deterrence Systems Team located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
The team provides engineering services to maintain the ICBM Minuteman propulsion subsystem. The subsystem includes flight controls, batteries, raceway cables, and associated test equipment. The selected candidate will work with a highly skilled and knowledgeable team in a great team environment. The candidate will be mentored in areas of responsibility.
Primary Responsibilities:
Systems requirements analysis and development including the ability to develop and document mechanical, electronic/electrical, and other system requirementsApplication of Model-Based Engineering/Model-Based Systems Engineering using tools such as DOORS and CAMEOTest planning, assessment, and reporting (testing includes Aging Surveillance, flight test, failure investigations, etc.)Failure analysis of flight hardware and associated test equipmentAbility to generate briefings and present briefings to internal and external customersTechnical writing skills to include generating plans, procedures, memorandums, reports, technical orders, drawings, etc.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science3+ years of experience in an engineering disciplineExperience working both independently and in team environmentsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience applying engineering processes and principlesExperience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation Experience modeling and simulationExperience utilizing engineering tools such as DOORS, CAMEO, etc.Experience with Model-Based Engineering/Model-Based Systems EngineeringExperience with failure analysis of hardware, test equipment, or other complex systemsRelocation:
