Mid-Level Flight Operations Generalist Support

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Flight Operations Generalist Support to join the team in Miami, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

Connects workstreams that would otherwise remain siloed

Works with Boeing Core Systems and Learning Design to research and evaluate potential training technologies for application to the delivery of customer training requirements

Recommends improvements to the organization’s processes and assists in the implementation and documentation of those processes

Follows up on delegated tasks, ensuring timely closeout of actions, projects, workflows

Reviews data sets, reconciles, and prepare reports, presentations, and flow charts to ensure alignment across Flight Training campuses with required reporting

Provides and receives cross training to/from other staff members; backs up other team members, as necessary

Supports onboarding, account creation/management of Flight Training instructors to ensure equipment and accounts are ready to support training at campuses

Troubleshoots problems that instructors experience with Flight Training-unique tools, software, and devices

Communicates frequently with Flight Training leadership, internal customers, and stakeholders to ensure that information flows in a timely manner

Works with IT, Supplier Management, Learning Design and Instructor Pilots to ensure maintenance of business requirements from conception through completion

Evaluates customer training requirements and develops proposal components to satisfy requirements

Analyzes data to identify and recommend potential training technologies for application to customer requirements

Develops training material to support training of test personnel

Conducts courseware reviews

Works with general direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of relevant work experience

Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite applications

Proficient with iPad and IOS operations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree

Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills

Ability to deal with multiple customer issues and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong operational business understanding, including potential impact of business decisions on various stakeholders and customers

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with business owners to define key business questions, build requirements and user stories

Demonstrated success in achieving aggressive short, medium and long-term goals

Strong leadership skills, ability to prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others

Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to self-manage, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

Requires attention to task towards completion, follow through is imperative

Project management experience

Experience with Comply365, CACTUS, eTDMS, VPT, CGA, IPSS

Experience with the pilot/instructor persona

A strong understanding of Boeing-managed devices

Analytical problem solver

Summary Pay Range: $79,000 – $99,000
