We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC and Huntsville, AL with an additional 36+ locations across the U.S. Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Boat Operator to provide full life cycle technical support for all types of combatant craft, boats, watercraft, amphibious vessels and vehicles, Patrol Coastal Class ships, specialty craft and vessels, life rafts, inflatable craft, unmanned vessels and vehicles, and associated craft and mission systems for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division’s Combatant Craft Division. JOB DETAILS LOCATION: Virginia Beach, VA JOB STATUS: FT TRAVEL: 0% REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Licenses & Certifications: Active United States Coast Guard (USCG) Captain’s License Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Education: High school diploma, trade/industrial school graduate, or GED equivalent (required) Clearance: Must possess a current Secret Clearance DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Related military experience Experience supporting test and evaluation of maritime electrical and electronic systems.
