We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Service Desk Engineer to provide advanced technical support for endpoint systems and Microsoft 365 services in a hybrid IT environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting tools like Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams (Voice and Chat), and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Daily responsibilities will include managing and deploying devices using Intune, Autopilot, and Entra ID (Azure AD), while ensuring security and compliance across the environment. Experience with PowerShell or Power Automate is required to assist with automation and process improvements. You’ll support both Windows and macOS environments, using JAMF for Apple device management, and handle basic networking issues as needed. This hybrid position also requires learning key Service Desk functions—including HL7, PACS systems—and contributing to automation and special projects involving Logic Apps, Intune, and more. Familiarity with tools such as Jira (critical), JumpCloud, NinjaOne, and Microsoft Intune is essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across both end-user support and backend systems, managing licenses, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality service to both internal and external teams. Responsibilities:
Provide advanced support for O365 Admin Center, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive administrationAdminister and troubleshoot endpoint security tools, particularly Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and ensure compliance with security policiesManage and support Entra/Azure AD, including handling user accounts and ensuring proper role- based accessOversee the configuration and deployment of devices via Intune and Autopilot, ensuring seamless setup for end usersProvide ongoing support for Microsoft Teams, including managing both chat and voice servicesMaintain licensing and compliance for Microsoft environments, ensuring proper usage and renewals across the organizationUtilize PowerShell for automation, scripting, and managing tasks across the enterprise environmentTroubleshoot issues related to Windows desktop operating systems and provide basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity and security issuesProvide comprehensive support for macOS environments, leveraging JAMF for management and provisioningServe as an escalation point for complex technical issues from the Service Desk teamCollaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvements and automationEnsure all systems and processes comply with regulatory and licensing requirements, contributing to security audits as necessaryParticipate in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours support when required Qualifications and Requirements:
