_We are looking for you to join our team as a_ **_Microelectronic Technician 2_** _based out of_ **_Apopka, FL_** _._
_The Technician will_ _perform a variety of technical, chemical, and photolithography duties with the development, processing, and control of semiconductor material and devices._
**_What You’ll Get To Do:_**
+ _Run fabrication equipment for processing semiconductor materials and devices under the guidance of process documentation, which includes the setup and operation of a variety of standard and special solid-state processing equipment. This includes performing various chemical, physical, photographic, and packaging processes, such as deposition, evaporation, and etching of materials, metal plating, wafer dicing/thinning, and making/requesting adjustments based on knowledge of processes and procedures, as well as monitoring equipment when applicable._
+ _Examine processes such as resist/develop processing, photo exposure, metallization, and etching to determine the quality of the process and locate defects. Determine and discuss with the engineer possible improvements in process or equipment to remedy defects._
+ _Interpret SPC_ _(Statistical Process Control)_ _charts to react to out-of-control conditions to maintain process control. Prepare reports or parts of reports following established patterns. Covering work assignments such as preparing masks, operating photographic equipment, and developing photographic requirements._
+ _Placing lots on hold, based on engineering guidance, disposition lots, and document in MES. Performing tasks such as running split lots for engineering, ensuring special processing is consistent and on time. Performing gage R&R_ _(repeatability & R_ _eproducibility_ _)_ _studies for metrology equipment._
+ _Lift, hold, move and manipulate the wafers in a FOUP (Front Opening Unified Pod) to 25 pounds and with a wand as applicable._
**_Basic Qualifications:_**
+ _High school graduate or recognized equivalent._
+ _Associate’s Degree or two years (minimum 60 semester hours) of college-level study with a major in a physical science or equivalent; or 2 years of relevant experience._
+ _2 years prior manufacturing experience or 1 year of semiconductor (cleanroom) manufacturing experience_
+ _Experience moving and manipulating wafers in a FOUP (Front Opening Unified Pod) to 25 pounds and with a wand as applicable._
+ _The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance._
+ _U.S. citizenship_
**_Preferred Qualifications:_**
+ _Experience running semiconductor process equipment and metrology equipment._
+ _Experience running AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) equipment_
+ _Experience in data collection and interpretation._
+ _Wafer handling experience, placing lots on hold and disposition of held material._
+ _Security Clearance._

Primary Level Salary Range: $47,000.00 - $78,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
