Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our team and support microbiological testing and laboratory operations within a GMP-regulated environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on microbiology experience, strong documentation skills, and a collaborative mindset who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform endotoxin (LAL) and bioburden (membrane filtration) testingPrepare microbial cultures for validation protocols, developmental studies, and growth promotionConduct growth promotion and water activity testingSupport challenge recovery of drug substances and raw materialsPrepare mold spore suspensionsPerform plate reading, data verification, and documentation reviewAssist with general lab maintenance, including cleaning, stocking, and cold room 5S activities

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a science-related field1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Quality Control Microbiology labProficiency in standard microbiological methods and aseptic techniques​​​​​​​​​Bioburden testing (membrane filtration)Endotoxin testing (LAL)Familiarity with cGMP guidelines (preferred)Experience with LIMS and electronic laboratory notebooksStrong skills in Microsoft Word and ExcelSolid understanding of experimental design and scientific methodologyMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Details: 

The position is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Andover, MA are encouraged to apply.
