Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateApplies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibilityDemonstrates and promotes the company visionDemonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaborationProactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivityMeets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaborationRegular attendance and punctualityPerform routine and non-routine serial dilutions and plating using excellent sterile techniquePerform enumeration of plated samples with high degree of accuracyMeasure water activity, conduct moisture analyses on tobacco samples according to prescribed methods.Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipmentPerform instrument calibration and daily equipment checksParticipate in laboratory exceptions and the CAPA processRead, understand and follow methods and procedures as assigned Record and review data accuratelyPerform validation of media, reagents and methodsReview, write, or revise SOP's, reports, protocolsMaintain ability to adjust working hours or work overtime and weekends, based on client needs.Excellent communication skills (oral and written)Communicates effectively with client staff membersConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsAt least one year of related laboratory or quality control experience; familiarity with basic laboratory practices and proceduresB.S Degree in microbiology, biology or equivalentExperience using aseptic techniques.Experience performing serial dilutions and platingAdditional Information
