Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to lead microbial monitoring activities within a regulated cleanroom environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing routine sampling, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining compliance with GMP and safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong aseptic technique, a deep understanding of environmental monitoring practices, and prior experience guiding teams in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate environmental monitoring of production cleanrooms, including aseptic processing and media fills, utilizing:Non-viable particle countersContact platesMicrobial air samplersSupervise utility sampling (e.g., WFI, purified water, compressed gases) using validated equipmentReview and verify microbial plate readings and enumerationsEnsure accurate and timely data entry into tracking systemsMaintain compliance with ICH, GMP, and internal safety protocolsInvestigate and escalate unexpected results, deviations, or equipment malfunctionsFoster a clean, organized, and safety-conscious laboratory environmentMentor and support junior staff, promoting best practices and continuous improvementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific fieldMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a regulated environmentDemonstrated proficiency in aseptic techniquePrior leadership experience is preferredAdditional InformationWhat to Expect in the Hiring Process:
