Shift: Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5pm, Thursday 9am to 4.45pm & Friday 9am to 5pm (36 hours per week)
Salary: £27,599 - £29,401 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Hybrid - Enderby, Leicester (with travel between sites)
We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented Data Analyst to join our team, ideal for recent graduates or those new to the data field. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your analytical skills, work with real world data, and contribute to data driven decision making across our Next Customer Service Online Operations. You’ll receive hands-on training and mentorship while gaining experience with data tools and techniques, making this the perfect starting point for a rewarding career in data analysis.
Leveraging your SQL experience, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing reporting and analytical capabilities across multiple systems, enabling timely and accurate insights to reduce customer detriment and minimise business impact.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Analyse both historical and real-time data across multiple platforms to identify key trends and potential issues. Create, interpret, and present high-quality reports, forecasts, and performance insights. Support senior leaders and stakeholders by providing accurate analysis to inform operational decisions. Respond to business-critical incidents (Priority Ones), helping to reduce impact and support resolution. Build and maintain performance models to assess departmental efficiency and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement change. Provide system support and analytical insight to teams across the wider business. Work closely with analysts from other departments to share insights, align reporting efforts and foster cross-functional collaboration.
What We’re Looking For:
High level of SQL ability. Excellent data analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards) or Google Sheets. Experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI is desirable. Confident communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly to all levels of the business. Logical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving in high-pressure situations. A naturally curious mindset – you’re someone who isn’t afraid to ask “why” and challenge the status quo. Detail-oriented, accurate, and passionate about delivering high-quality work that supports customer-first decisions.
