MI Analyst

We’re here to help our colleagues achieve success and offer an inclusive and collaborative culture where your voice is valued. **MI Analyst – Customer Analytics** The **MI (Management Information) Analyst** will be an integral part of the Customer Analytics team who acts as a single point of contact for understanding and supporting client’s travel program goals using business travel data for external and internal stakeholders. The **MI Analyst** must have the ability to interpret data, create complex data analysis, deliver high quality management information and analytics for clients/CGMs, identify trends/gaps, facilitate data issue resolution and create insightful recommendations for stakeholders. **What You’ll do on a Typical Day:** + Key contact for MI travel data report production (recurring and Adhoc) using GBT data reporting platform in an accurate and timely fashion + Ensure reports are fit-for-purpose and challenge the status quo as applicable + Analyze reports and identify trends and their client impact + MI profile set up and maintenance (Reason Codes, MI fields, etc.) in GBT MI database to ensure consistent global reporting + Ongoing monitoring of data quality to proactively identify issues and facilitating resolution with other departments + SME for data related projects + Support account managers in preparation for business planning and presentations with MI travel data + Participate in business review strategy and structure review sessions + Provide support and engages directly with the Client as needed + Uses analytical and creative approach to condense large amounts of information into a clear, concise, effective format + Drives results by operating with a sense of urgency, employing effective time management to deliver results within deadlines + Adheres to a Statement of Work that is outcome and results oriented with SLAs and clear expectations on deliverables and commitments + Maintain expected productivity and customer satisfaction goals **What We’re looking for:** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience where course work could include (either): statistics, travel, business administration, finance, decision sciences, economics, and mathematics. Candidates with Masters or equivalent experience preferred. + Must have 3+ years of relevant work experience in data reporting & analytics, travel industry preferred. + Should have good analytical and project management skills with innovative approach and ability to think conceptually + Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
