Job Summary: As a manager of Transmission Consultant for UKG you will be an integral member of a dynamic team responsible for implementing secure file transmission processes as part of larger integrations. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our comprehensive UKG products, and managing a team responsible for setting up secure file transmissions, troubleshooting related issues and providing in-depth analysis and timely resolutions/workarounds for client-escalated issues in areas related to file and data transmissions. The qualified candidate is expected to have knowledge of file transmissions for EDI files, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to organize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The individual guides the internal team of ~10 members and as well assists customers with the associated processes, offers strategic advice and informs on best practices relative to processes. The Manager Data Services Consultant position combines advanced skills and levels of experience to deliver quality solutions to both customers and team members and functions as a trusted advisor to internal and external customers. Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: Provide three to ten (3-10) statements, in order of importance, that describe the major activities/functions for which an employee in this job is held accountable. • Proactively communicate with stakeholders to keep them apprised of project status assigned to the team • Ensure projects are on track with assigned responsibilities and project timeline and effectively implement change-control. • Serve as an escalation point for resolving issues with extracted/converted data • Provide ideas and support to functional project resources to promote efficiencies and increased customer satisfaction levels • Develop and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the team on new tools, processes and best practices to drive efficiency • Create a collaborative environment within the direct business team and throughout UKG company. • Encourage open and honest communication within direct team as well as across the organization. • Continually solicit feedback from team members, peers, and supervisors to find new or better ways to operate, improve efficiency, and/or develop themselves. Required Qualifications: • Able to lead a medium to large team, takes initiative to lead and develop, Able to set and manage expectations. • Customer-focused, positive and professional attitude • Organized, detail oriented, accurate and responsive, Results driven orientation • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills Customer-focused & business oriented • Availability to work at least half US business hours • Deep understanding of SFTP and file transfer technologies including file encryption • Degree in information systems or computer science or equivalent work experience.
