The Manager of this team will guide a team of Revenue Negotiation Representatives tasked with mitigating churn outside of the renewal cycle and upholding UKG’s contractual rights. Your direct reports will partner with internal teams (sales, ERMs) to understand and promote the long-term health of the customer relationship, and work directly with customers to renegotiate existing contract terms when appropriate.

• Support high quality customer engagement (internal and external) by shadowing calls, providing escalation support, and meeting with your team members 1:1 on a weekly basis
• Proactively collaborate with leadership in Relationship Management, Sales, Product Management, Support, and Services to gather information related to early termination requests and to share feedback regarding challenges in each of these areas that are impacting retention
• Work with Finance and Renewals leadership to deliver churn forecasts and business insights related to customer churn
• Collaborate with legal to ensure your team is equipped to thoroughly analyze contract terms, conditions, and legal implications to assess the legitimacy of termination requests
• Effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the business cases behind termination requests, and present mitigation proposals or alternative solutions
• Work collaboratively across other members of Renewals, Offboarding, GSO, and IT to build out the tools and technology needed to support your team’s daily work and to provide real-time reporting to key internal stakeholders
Basic Required Skills:
• Prior management experience in a related field (renewals, SaaS technology, sales, relationship management) is required
• Proven experience leading complex contract negotiations (pricing, concessions, terms and conditions), preferably in a role involving termination requests
• Excellent understanding of legal and contractual terms and conditions
