Responsible for daily operations and management of a 24-hour, 7 day a week staffing and scheduling resource center for designated region. Manages the department team of representatives providing workforce management support to designated region(s).Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides operational management of 24/7 labor resource management across designated region(s) including but not limited to: staffing, scheduling and timekeeping.Maintains collaborative relationship with key vendor partners for schedule and timekeeping operations.Implements standard process and best practices to improve staffing efficiency, patient throughput, and cost efficiency enterprise wide through labor operations. Leads and coordinates the work, tasks, and activities of the schedule & staffing operations team.Works in conjunction with leadership to develop workflows and policies that will support the scheduling software. Applies process improvement and quality management principles. Analyzes daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly metrics and utilizes this data to present concepts and data in a way that meets the customer's needs and provides guidance to team members. Serves as the primary contact for any staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, and schedule software issues, and as a resource and guide to clinical managers and front line staff.Responsible for human resource management for the assigned area creating a culture of employee engagement. Leads all activities related to succession planning, hiring, orienting, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related clinical fieldEXPERIENCE
Five years' clinical experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibilityPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.Frequent keyboard use/data entry.Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.Rare climbing.REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
