Summary
Position Highlights
The Revenue Cycle (RC) Quality Manager will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the following functions within Revenue Cycle and Clinical Research Revenue Cycle: audit assurance, training and instructional design, and costs and revenue recovery operations. It will assist the RC Quality Director and RC Vice President in planning, executing and reporting on the results of quality and data audits and aligning the training needs with the results of quality audits, new regulations and workflow enhancements. The Manager will compile and review work product that is routinely provided to Internal Audit, Corporate Compliance, and senior leadership and presented in the Internal Audit Committee and Joint Corporate Compliance Committee meetings. The Manager will support operational RC/CRRC teams in documenting and monitoring remediations to audit deficiencies and report out as needed. The Manager is responsible for representing RC/CRRC in projects across Moffitt that have a revenue cycle impact.
Responsibilities:
Complete all necessary human resource functions while adhering to all human resources expectations for subordinates. Responsible for completeness, accuracy and presentation of all audits, analyses and documents completed by the Quality team prior to distribution outside the team. Responsible for training material developed by Instructional Design team that is published for external use. Ensure agreed upon deadlines established by leadership and internal regulating functions are met. Establish teams' annual metrics and track effort throughout fiscal year. Collaborate continuously with Revenue Cycle, Clinical Research Revenue Cycle and Moffitt leaders to represent revenue cycle operations and protect Moffitt. Support RC Recovery Operations through cost saving and missed revenue opportunities identified and pursued.
Credentials and Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field Master's Degree Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field A minimum of seven (7) years' audit experience inclusive of:(2) years' experience in a regional accounting/audit firm.
(3) years' experience in a leadership role, managing the audit process, developing scopes, execution of
audit plans and reporting results to management
(5) years' in the healthcare industry Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required:
- Experience presenting to leadership both orally and in written communication.
- Leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support to department and promote employee
development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage conflict well.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must manage deadlines, prioritize effective and be goal oriented.
- Proven analytical ability and organizational skills necessary to organize/assess information and evaluate
recommendations based on data analysis.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in utilizing the Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications
- Experience in navigating Soarian Financials and PowerChart
