**About the Role & Team**
Lead strategic/detailed planning, scheduling, financial, and purchasing/material controls to support various resort Operations. Core responsibility entails optimizing service levels (in stock, on-time delivery) at the lowest cost -- through the combination of individual effort and proactive leadership of direct and indirect reports. Oversee Inventory Control across warehouse and decentralized bench stock locations. Materials include spare parts, supplies, food novelty items and molds & tooling.
This role will report to the Operations Mgr-Distribution Services.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Manage procurement of all spare parts and supplies designated for central inventory. Partner with Sourcing & Procurement, Engineering and vendors to deliver excellent service at the lowest cost. Monitor inventory consumption and provide guidance to meet KPIs
+ Maintain excellent inventory controls via the continuous review and update of the Material Master and MRP fields. This includes ongoing MRP analysis from forecasting tools such as SmartForecast to optimize inventory levels and service strategies
+ Provide direction and guidance pertaining to inventory management and continuous improvement (including, but not limited to cycle counting, receiving, goods issue, scrapping and other movements to assure inventory integrity).
+ Lead direct and indirect teams in various programs (Bench stock inventory integrity across resort, Spares Maintenance and Repair & Exchange programs) to ensure operational readiness for Engineering Services partners.
+ Collaborate and partner with many lines of business throughout the company. Must demonstrate ability to be a thought leader and to broker cooperation from multiple parties to achieve common goals.
+ Perform project management related to initiatives within the organization
+ Manage KPI reporting
+ Actively participate in system testing
**Required Qualifications & Skills:**
+ Individual must be a quick learner and possess good reasoning skills - able to extrapolate and apply learnings
+ High degree of vendor management and client collaboration.
+ Lead direct and indirect reports and support their continuous growth and development
+ Individual must work well in a team environment (internal and external partners).
+ Demonstrate ability to apply learnings to new situations and make educated decisions on inventory and service levels
+ Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver quality, timely work within tight deadlines
+ Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), Warehouse Management Systems (Blue Yonder), Production/Manufacturing systems (Maximo), demand forecasting tools (Smartforecast)
+ Proficient in MS Office Apps (Word, Access, Excel, PPT, Visio)
+ MRP, Inventory Management and Inventory control expert.
+ Demonstrated planning and execution skills
+ Demonstrate ability to apply learnings to new situations and make educated decisions on inventory and service levels
+ APICS certification
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree in related business or equivalent work experience.
**Preferred** **Education:**
+ Master’s Degree/MBA

The hiring range for this position in California is $119,300-152,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
