Supervise and evaluate the needs of personnel assigned within specific areas of the department. Assist with the hiring of staff, scheduling of personnel, repair of equipment, and assist the Manager or Supervisor, as needed. Responsibilities Clinical Excellence/Patient Care + Lead and direct staffing, scheduling of patients, and assist with personnel evaluations. (F) + Works in all areas of the General Radiology Department, as needed. (F) + Assists with the interpretation UnityPoint Health – Des Moines and Radiology Policies and Procedures for subordinates insuring knowledge and compliance. (O) + Manages issues related to staffing, morale, work methods, and procedures in accordance with UnityPoint Health – Des Moines Policies in all personnel matters . (O) + Responsible for procurement, storage, and routing of supplies. (F) + Assists with the maintenance of records for auditing purposes and prepares monthly reports, as needed. (F) + Assists with the PPD process and new hire evaluations. (O) + Attends monthly staff meetings and educational opportunities. (C) Qualifications Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology. 2 Years Experience as an ARRT Radiology Technologist. Maintain ARRT AND IDPH CEU requirements. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
