**Job Overview**
Auto Americas Finance Team is seeking a dynamic **FP&A Manager** to lead key financial planning and analysis activities for the **Americas region** , with a strong emphasis on **managing operational expenses,** as well as driving the **consolidation of financial results** across the Americas. This role will supervise two high-performing FP&A analysts and serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, delivering insights that support decision-making and operational efficiency
The ideal candidate combines deep financial and accounting expertise with a strong leadership presence and a passion for **continuous improvement** . They will play a critical role in strengthening financial processes, enhancing reporting accuracy, and identifying opportunities to optimize spending and improve business performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Financial Reporting & Consolidation**
+ Lead the monthly consolidation of financial results and forecasts across the Americas region.
+ Prepare and present key financial reports – including P&L statements, variance analysis, and executive summaries – to senior leadership.
+ Analyze business trends and performance drivers to deliver actionable insights.
+ Drive process improvement through tool modernization, enhanced SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) utilization, and improved data integration efficiency.
**Budgeting & Forecasting**
+ Develop and maintain detailed forecasts and annual budgets for North America OpEx (G&A, Selling, RD&E).
+ Lead planning cycles in collaboration with regional stakeholders and global FP&A.
+ Support long-range strategic planning and financial outlook processes.
**Team Leadership**
+ Manage, mentor, and develop two FP&A analysts, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
+ Provide clear structure and oversight to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
**Other Key Tasks**
**Operating Expense Management**
+ Monitor and analyze operating expenses, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and recommending corrective actions.
+ Partner with functional leaders to ensure alignment with financial targets and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
**Month-End Close Activities**
+ Oversee monthly close deliverables in partnership with the Shared Services team.
+ Review journal entries, accruals, and reversals related to North America activities.
+ Investigate significant variances and support corrective action plans.
**Business Partnership & Decision Support**
+ Serve as a strategic finance partner to G&A, Selling, and RD&E leaders across North America.
+ Provide timely and relevant financial insights to support decision-making.
+ Conduct regular VOC sessions to ensure continued alignment.
**Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration**
+ Collaborate with local and regional finance teams, including plant finance, legal entity controllers, shared services, and global Auto / TS Segment FP&A.
+ Ensure consistency of assumptions and reporting standards across the region.
**Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis**
+ Support business initiatives and special projects with scenario modeling, business cases, and sensitivity analyses.
**Job Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
+ 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or accounting roles.
+ Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
+ Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
+ Experience with SAP, SAC, & Hyperion financial systems preferred.

**COMPENSATION**
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $131,000 – $163,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
