Responsibilities involve both internal and external contacts regarding issues critical to operations. Develop operational governance processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. **Primary Duties** **PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES** **Manage the Business Planning and Support team to support operations leadership in business planning, operational governance, oversight and support.** Day to day management responsibilities are diverse and complex, including coordination among all operations departments in industry benchmarking activities, business planning activities, regular department management review meetings, completion of all commitments and compliance items, as well as performance management of management employees. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. **Job Scope** **JOB SCOPE** + Manage the business planning and support group to oversee the lifecycle of contracted Distribution work – scheduling, contract coordination, and execution of construction and maintenance work. + Manage, coach and develop team members in a high-performance environment. + Manage cross-functional assignments or projects as appropriate. + Review and approval of contract requisitions, contract change requests, and contract payment authorizations ensuring alignment negotiated labor rates + Implement regional strategic objectives. Provide direction and leadership and apply benchmark learning's to focus efforts on achieving company and business unit goals. + Regularly interface with key leadership while representing the organization on issues and initiatives related to contract coordination and Distribution corrective and preventative maintenance work. Interface with internal and external stakeholders to resolve contract and construction related issues. + Develop and maintain an environment that fosters a high performance safety culture and an innovative organization. Develop methods to assess communication effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives. + Ability to understand distribution construction, operation, engineering, and or project management and oversee business planning function in a fast paced work environment + Excellent leadership and strategic skills to lead a large group of leaders and individual contributors to guide them towards strategic improvements. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven abilities to communicate at all levels including senior executives. + Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills, and attention to detail, initiative and the ability to effectively manage change and successfully complete multiple tasks under constantly changing conditions. + Manage the distribution business planning and support group to oversee distribution overhead, underground, Tallyboard, and Third Party Attachment construction, business planning, benchmarking, operational governance process and ensure timely completion of various customer projects. + Manage, coach and develop supervisors and their respective teams in a high performance environment. + Manage cross-functional assignments or projects as appropriate. **Minimum Qualifications** **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative areas and 7-10 years related business experience in business planning, project management, and/or financial analysis. In lieu of degree 9-12 years of relevant experience with 3-5 years of Supervisory experience. + Ability to conduct in-depth financial analysis and oversee business planning function in a fast paced work environment + Excellent Microsoft Access, Excel and Powerpoint skills to deliver presentations to senior executives. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven abilities to communicate at all levels including senior executives. + Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills, and attention to detail, initiative and the ability to effectively manage change and successfully complete multiple tasks under constantly changing conditions. **Preferred Qualifications** **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Advanced degree or professional certification preferred (such as PE, PMP) Job Scope Lead the business planning and support team to perform strategic and tactical assessment of operational performance leveraging industry benchmarking information and other pertinent information, and develop long range business plan. + Develop operational governance processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance. + Day to day management responsibilities are diverse and complex, including coordination among all operations departments in industry benchmarking activities, business planning activities, regular department management review meetings, completion of all commitments and compliance items, as well as performance management of management employees. + Responsibilities involve both internal and external contacts regarding issues critical to operations. + Work is diversified in nature and requires initiative and judgment in determining prioritization of activities and appropriate course of action. + Involves the understanding and application of business practices, guidelines and accounting principles. + The need to understand to total operating cost, benchmarking information and the ability to apply best practices are critical to achieve results that are world class **Benefits** **Benefits** + Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $112,000.00/Yr. – $154,000.00/Yr. + Annual Bonus for eligible positions: 20% + 401(k) match and annual company contribution + Medical, dental and vision insurance + Life and disability insurance + Generous paid time off options, including vacation, sick time, floating and fixed holidays, maternity leave and bonding/primary caregiver leave or parental leave + Employee Assistance Program and resources for mental and emotional support + Wellbeing programs such as tuition reimbursement, adoption and surrogacy assistance and fitness reimbursement + Referral bonus program + And much more Note: Exelon-sponsored compensation and benefit programs may vary or not apply based on length of service, job grade, job classification or represented status.
