Job Description Position Summary The Development Manager is primarily responsible for managing the budgets of multiple value-creating projects. Serving as the central point on a multidisciplinary project team, this individual consolidates project data, tracks all income and expenses, and forecasts total project costs and monthly project spend. You will work closely with a senior developer, gaining hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow into independently leading projects. Responsibilities + Manage and maintain project budgets and forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget. + Support development projects throughout the full cycle, from feasibility studies through construction and closeout. + Coordinate with internal and external partners including design and construction teams to achieve project objectives. + Lead the creation, analysis, and underwriting of project proformas. + Coordinate, research, track, and advance project tasks and company obligations related to leases, COREAs, municipalities, permits, entitlements, bonds and letters of credit, lenders, joint venture partners, and internal capital approval. + Manage multiple projects of varying complexity, balancing priorities and meeting deadlines. + Other projects as assigned. Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required. + Bachelor’s degree required preferably in real estate, finance, business, architecture, construction management or related field. + At least 5 years of experience working in real estate, finance or development required. + Background in architecture and/or construction preferred. + Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project. + Ability and initiative to quickly learn software tools including, but not limited to, budget and project management platforms, Bluebeam, Salesforce, JD Edwards, Proliance, and Yardi. + Proven ability to prioritize effectively and adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple projects.
