As a Manager Data Analytics, you’ll manage a team that provides complex data and reporting to better assist management in maximizing resources better assist management in maximizing resources in various departments or lines of business.

WHAT OUR MANAGERS DATA ANALYTICS ENJOY MOST

Identifying areas of opportunity and/or improvement based on trends in the data, and use these insights to inform new products and/or operational improvementsIdentifying opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performanceManaging high visibility projects to identify and resolve issues of strategic importance to the organizationConducting complex data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutionsCreating and maintaining report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resourcesEnsuring compliance and accuracy of all data, results, and conclusions of the team as well as identifying and defining data quality improvements

On a typical day you and your team will be responsible for creating and producing forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, and dashboards to provide insights in determining operational impact, trends, and opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Experience:
Data analysis and reporting or related experience: 5 years or moreEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related fieldSkills:
Expert level knowledge of SQL
o Knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, etc.)Abilities:
Handle multiple projects and prioritiesPrioritize and organize effectivelyMake decisions and work collaboratively with others to solve problemsManage and motivate othersAnalyze and interpret dataQuickly identify business problems/opportunitiesCommunicate with all levels of management and company personnelHybrid Schedule: Four in-office days weekly

Preferred Qualifications

Experience:
Management or leadership Demonstrated advanced SQL skills with the ability to design, optimize, analyze and improve performanceDemonstrated knowledge of stored proceduresDemonstrated understanding of how multiple data resources can be consolidatedProven ability to quickly grasp business requirements and translate them into optimized solution blueprintsFamiliarity with Big Data technologies such as AWS Redshift, Oracle and SQL ServerDeveloping and implementing complex SQL
