The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our Controllership team in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, month end close tasks, financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.Maintain and update general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making, including partnership with the share service teams of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledgerDrive initiatives and projects related to standardization, process improvements, integration, automation and control to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.Proficiency in accounting software such as JD Edwards, Hyperion, SAP, etc.Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Experience with Power BI, Blackline, Alteryx are a plusExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
