Technical Specialists in Automation and Tooling are a new addition to final assembly but will be integral to our operations, serving as the strategic leads for advanced tooling systems withing specific teams; VCT, M&E and Automation. The MFGE Tech Specialist- Automation  engineer will be specialized in robotics and automation tooling cells for final assembly. This position demands comprehensive technical mastery, and leveraging data analytics to understanding root cause towards high hurt quality and systemic process/tooling related issues. Tech specialists will be responsible for fielding and resolving systemic issues pertaining to their specialty from both internal and external customers. Travel to sites and suppliers is a necessary component of this position. Moreover, Technical Specialists are anticipated to be key contributors to the research, development, and successful deployment of cutting-edge technologies across our global production footprint.
