Responsibilities The Opportunity This role is responsible of managing the second shift (14:30 a 23:30) of Colonia operation (Salt, Liquid and Warehouse), aligning the operation with the Plant objectives. Your Impact - Manages the second shift (14:30 a 23:30) of Colonia operation (Salt, Liquid and Warehouse) ensuring the most effective and efficient use of available resources (people, water, energy, equipment and infrastructure) and complying with operations KPIs. - Support the continuous improvement of the manufacturing KPI’s and productivity target, such as True efficiency, Output, Yield Loss, overtime. - Service: manage resources allocation and lines capability assessment to meet production and shipment schedule. - Cost: strict control of area budget in order to meet AOP whilst H&S, QC, Service and OHS targets are delivered. Identify and deliver projects which have an agreed cost saving benefit for the facility utilizing the Lean Six-Sigma tools. - Support compliance of the operation team with EHS programs procedures, norms and regulations in order to provide safety and sustainable working environment including: incidents reporting, investigation and corrective and preventive action plans implementation, internal and external audits requirements (i.e. GEHSMS, OSHA 18000, ISO14001). - Support compliance of the operation team with Quality, Food Safety and Process Excellence programs procedures, norms and regulations in order to provide a 6-sigma quality level including: incidents reporting, investigation and corrective and preventive action plans implementation, internal and external audits requirements (i.e. AIB, FSSC 22000, BQA, etc.). - Responsible of generating and sustaining a world class work environment within the operation team, ensuring action plans implementation based on OHS, GPTW and MQPI surveys, including OST and any applicable corporate program. - Report problems related with Quality, Food Defense & Food Safety System Management - Ensure compliance with HSE Local and Corporate regulations. Monitor compliance to EHS regulations, including the staff under his charge. - Immediate Report of injuries, incident or accidents to direct supervisor to enable the communication process required in the legal framework and internal protocol. - Implement operational and administrative controls to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses and environmental impacts. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? -BS or technical degree in the areas of Engineering/Quality/Food-Science/Logistics/Business -+ 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing industry -People management/supervision experience is desired -Preferably with knowledge in SAP -Knowledge of Lean Six-Sigma concepts and methodologies is desired -Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) -Self-initiator, proactivity, capacity for teamwork, good interpersonal skills. -Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks. -Ability to problem solve and make quick decisions. -Emotional self-awareness.
