Job: IRC12013 **Description** Job Title Mfg Production Technician I Location Carencro, LA, US Position Summary Under direct supervision, performs one or more manufacturing processes (assembly, fabrication, machining, heat treatment, welding, finishing, maintenance) to specifications. Handles special projects, as assigned. Essential Functions 1. Monitor ingredients to assure line runs properly. 2. Operating extrusion equipment properly and safely. 3. Starting up and shutting down extrusion equipment properly and safely. 4. Reading all gauges, monitoring and recording data as required. 5. Performing routine line changes. 6. Safely unloading trucks of raw materials and regrind. 7. Distinguishing between various grades of regrind for introduction into extrusion process. 8. Ability and willingness to climb to top of silos when necessary. Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or educational equivalent. Entry level. Basic mechanical aptitude.
