Position Overview:

We are looking for a Multifamily Counterparty Risk Management Senior to join Counterparty Risk & Compliance (CRC) group’s Servicer Compliance team. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are a must!

As a Counterparty Risk Management Senior you will evaluate Seller/Servicers’ compliance to eligibility requirements in the Freddie Mac Multifamily Seller/Servicer Guide and to requirements set forth in Pooling & Servicing Agreements.  Your contributions will support the team’s ongoing monitoring of operational risks posed to Freddie Mac by our Seller/Servicer network.

Our Impact:

This team within the Counterparty Risk & Compliance reviews, monitors and reports on counterparty compliance and maintains the division's ratings as both a Master Servicer and Special Servicer. Our team is primarily responsible for:

Reviewing annual Seller/Servicer certifications to ensure continued eligibilityMonitoring custodial accounts and depository institutionsProcessing organizational change notificationsCoordinating rating agency reviews for our role as Master & Special ServicerPerforming various risk mitigation activities including portfolio seizures and transfers of servicingEnsuring accuracy of Seller/Servicer data in multiple systems

Your Impact:

Provide audit team with pre-audit information requests for Seller/ServicersPerform monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for internal & external stakeholdersProvide training to new team membersCreate job aids, process flows and update team procedures annuallyAssist with requirements gathering and UAT testing for enhancement releases for proprietary system Multifamily Eligibility SystemCreate internal job aids and external user manuals for Multifamily Eligibility SystemConduct annual eligibility reviews of Multifamily Seller/ServicersReview Monthly, Quarterly and Annual post-securitization reporting from Seller/ServicersReview and approve Seller/Servicer Change Notification forms completed by team membersCoordinate department’s annual records retention review

Qualifications:

5-7 years of related professional work experience; experience in commercial real estate finance strongly preferredBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceAdvanced experience with Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and PowerPointProven ability to work accurately on projects with specific and measurable due dates and goalsExperience building and maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external customersKnowledge of GSE servicing requirements

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $98,000 - $148,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
