As a 6T22 Metrology Technologist – Gage Lab Technician you will be responsible for the day-to-day certifications of gages and building of gages for machinist in the TC-K Shop to use as well dimensional layout work. **Job** **Duties/Responsibilities** **may include, but are not limited to:** + Building and setting of various gages for the TC-K Shop and other clients as needed such as dial bore gages, snap gages, etc. + Certify gages and ensure all gage certifications are up to date and tracked in GageIT + Calibration of gages such as calipers, OD micrometers, ID micrometers, Indicators, etc. + Ability to complete measurement over pins on gear and spline as well as other hand measurements using various gages. + Supporting engineers, technologists, managers, marketing personnel, customers, and suppliers + Completing surface finish measurements + Attend meetings + Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition + Must meet deadlines **Required Qualifications:** + 2-4 years of progressive, relevant experience in Quality Inspection + Strong problem-solving skills + Ability to work as part of a team and to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients, suppliers, and customers. + Must have strong understanding of GD&T and its application + Microsoft Office experience (basic skills/knowledge – capable of functioning independently) ie.
