Method Engineer ( Machines and mechanical)

We are currently looking for our future Method Engineer ( Machines and mechanical) who will be based in **Wabtec, Katy Wroclawskie** **Who will you be working with?** You will be reporting to the Senior Industrial Manager. **How will you make a difference?** As a Method Engineer, you will be responsible to propose, define and implement manufacturing processes for the selected products with minimum costs, within a minimum timeframe and with a guaranteed quality **What do we want to know from you?** + You have a technical education degree in the mechanical or mechanical-energy sector and you have at least 2 years of experience related to machining. + You have a very good knowledge of technical drawing. + You have the ability to define, develop and create new assembly stations / lines for multi-complicated products in low series production. + You are able to transform manual assembly process into semi automatic stations / lines. + You can read technical drawings in English, German will be an advantage. + You have a good command of the English language (being able to speak German is appreciated). + You have some knowledge about project management. + You are available to geographic mobility / travels. **What will your typical day look like?** + Optimize production processes, specifically related to machining parts (cutting, lathe, milling, welding, and assembly). + Participate in the preparation of new technology and production programs, including the creation of technical documentation crucial for the launch and implementation of new products. + Design and support the development of manufacturing and checking fixtures. + Transform manual assembly processes into semi-automatic stations/lines. + Plan and execute tasks required during the development of the manufacturing process, including Process Flow Diagrams, Cycle Time/Capacity Optimization, Line Balancing, Working Instructions, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Start-of-Production Checklists. + Validate manufacturing tools. + Prepare manufacturing documentation and train operators. + Organize First Article Inspection (FAI) and related activities until the qualification of the manufacturing process. + Analyze basic production indicators such as efficiency, quality, and cost, and report to the Method Engineering Manager. **Please send your CV in English.** _Legal authorization to work in EU is required.
