Relocation assistance is not available for this position***_** **Job Summary/Purpose** Perform all types of Meter Services work. Electric turn on, turn off, removals, installs, change outs, rereads, reconnects, tampering etc. **Job Duties/Responsibilities** + Responsible for working mainly self-contained electric meters on residential and commercial accounts. + Perform disconnects on residential and commercial accounts due to non-payment of bill. Install and remove different types of locks for tampering prevention. + Must render excellent customer service in a professional manner while handling customers in the field. + Flexibility to work irregular or extended hours as required. Position requires the ability to work outside in all types of weather, in unusual surroundings as well as normal conditions. Must be available for call outs. Be fully capable of performing other related tasks as assigned. + Complete daily work tickets, timesheets, and respond as needed through digital format applications. + Maintain a valid driver’s license. + Assist in storm restoration efforts as needed. + Know and practice Entergy's applicable safety rules and safe work procedures at all times.
