Individual will \(under close supervision\) be assisting others or working alone, perform operations associated with the testing, adjustment, repair, and painting of gas meters and associated devices\. Performs physical work both outdoors and indoors with material, hand tools, and equipment pertinent to the job\. Ability to work for extended periods of time with meter proving equipment\. Individual will load, paint, and remove gas meters for paint line as well as unload, sort, store, and take inventory of meters, equipment, and devices\. Reads commercial and industrial meters and correcting devices\. Performs necessary calculations as related to meter testing and other routines\.
