Job DescriptionPosition Purpose:
The Meter Reader will be a key part of the SourceOne energy management team responsible for collecting meter information and maintaining good working relationships with all SourceOne customers.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Directly reporting to Supervisor of Energy Management.Professional service to account relationships.Building customer relationships as a key member of management team.Gathering and consolidating data from varied sources.Managing field meter data collection for multiple customers on a daily and monthly basis.Support to field inquiry requests to help manage problem resolution for customer utility-billing issues.Coordinating and assisting with field information for new customer account creation.Support researching and identifying field procedures for the authorizations of access to customer’s meter locations and utility information.Proactively identify abnormal metering situations and advise the Energy Management team.Supporting administrative needs of the business, including but not limited to, accounting, reporting, the sales process, data entry, back-up phone support, and general administration.QualificationsEducation/Experience/Background:
High School Diploma/GED is required.Some energy, utility or related experience is preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
