Job Title: Manufacturing Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Estimator to interpret customer RFQs, machining, and welding drawings to determine scope and requirements. The ideal candidate will develop detailed cost estimates using internal data and supplier quotes while collaborating with various teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

ResponsibilitiesInterpret customer RFQs, machining, and welding drawings to determine scope and requirements.Develop detailed cost estimates using internal data and supplier quotes.Complete and maintain cost sheets for each quote and quote revisions.Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials, subcontracted services, and components.Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate and feasible estimates.Ensure all estimates are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.Maintain organized records of quotes, the quote log, and supporting documentation.Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience in estimating within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving machining and welding processes.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications including GD&T.Experience with ERP systems; Epicor ERP E10 is a plus.Familiarity with CAD software; SolidWorks experience is a plus.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsWorking knowledge of computers and business software (Microsoft Office, Excel).Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
