Job Title: Metal Bond Technician

We are hiring immediately for a Metal Bond Technician.

What you will be doing as a Metal Bond Technician:

In this role, you’ll prepare and lay up metal bond materials into assembly components according to specific guidelines. You’ll work on various sizes of assemblies for the curing process and support senior Technicians as needed.

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

Component Assembly: Form and lay-up parts and assemblies like fiberglass, graphite, metal, and Kevlar using specifications, blueprints, and instructions. Prepare metal parts and assemblies for the oven or curing process through sequential lay-up methods

Material Selection: Choose proper holding fixtures, bonding materials, bleeders, and bagging materials; fit and align parts in sequence

Adhesive Application: Apply adhesives to bond, trim and seal bleeder and bag, and ensure uniform vacuum pressure by checking for leaks and proper seals. Ensure proper care is taken to avoid contamination of part surfaces from dust or other agents

Tool and Part Handling: Move tools and parts to and from ovens, cut away bagging materials, and remove excess material or tape

Measurement and Tools: Use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools as required

What you need to be successful:

A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required

Willingness to learn new skillsets
