Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
We are looking for a Production Manager to join our plant in Merlino (LO).
Reporting directly to the Plant Director, you will:
Manage a team of four shift leaders and approximately one hundred non-desk workers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Monitor key performance indicators, address deviations, and ensure quality, timely delivery, and optimal output.
Detect process anomalies promptly and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.
Oversee facilities, processes, and product standards, conducting line inspections to ensure compliance.
Champion HSE regulations and cultivate a safety-first culture.
Coordinate training sessions to enhance employee awareness of company and local procedures.
Work closely with other departments to ensure synergy and leverage technical expertise.
Cooperate with the planning and scheduling team to review and address risks in the production plan.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in Italian and English.
At least 5 years of experience in production management.
Results-driven with a strong ability to navigate a complex manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles.
