M-F dayshift
The Clinical Supervisor – Hospital Pharmacy Operations and Pharmacy Department Informatics provides leadership/oversight for day-to-day central pharmacy operations. Provides leadership/oversight to Pharmacy Department Informatics/systems and pharmacy perspective of the EMR. Performs the expected duties and responsibilities of a Clinical Pharmacist as necessary.
Education [formal]:
1. Bachelors or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy required
2. Iowa Pharmacist licensure, either by examination or reciprocity, is required.
3. Leadership/Business/Informatics degree is preferred.
Experience: One or more years of supervisory experience is preferred. Residency training and/or certification in area(s) related to practice is preferred. Special Skills and Competencies:
1. Must have ability to make sound, independent decisions.
2. Must demonstrate leadership ability.
3. Must have the skill to prioritize assignments and delegate duties, as appropriate.
4. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with other hospital personnel.
5. Expertise in the use of information technology specific to pharmacy/healthcare environment
