Build and execute the strategy to attain Truist Financial goals for merchant services revenue. Foster strong relationships with Truist leaders across all lines of business to facilitate success of Truist directives. Primary Goal: Accelerate revenue and portfolio growth through strategy, coaching, and process improvement for Merchant Services Relationship Mangers. Prioritize Merchant Services solutions across regional leaders to grow engagement and product revenue. Attract, develop and retain talent to foster continued growth of the Merchant Services team. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Responsible for strategy for revenue growth and improving teammate and client experiences. Work with Head of Merchant Services RM/PM to create goals and assign to MSRM team as appropriate. Work with Regional President and Senior Leaders to outline growth hurdles and expectations. Provide guidance and partnership for Regional Leadership on outlining and tracking Merchant Services goals. 2. Coach, mentor, and develop teammates to achieve growth and bring the Truist brand and culture to life. Responsible for clearly defining expectations for teammates to assist with their ongoing success. Attend relationship reviews with the team. Focus on growth of teammates to include 1 on 1 coaching, providing industry best practices- experiences and lead by example. 3. Provide Coaching and leadership to level I and II teammates. Participate in team calls to assist with revenue generating ideas, regional communication for assigned coverage, coaching and mentoring specific group managers. Provide growth plans and coaching sessions that encompass a caring and trusting environment. 4. Build strong relationship with leaders across all lines of businesses. Be present in leadership regional meetings and be the Merchant Services brand ambassador. Present ongoing data around regional team performance and where there is room for improvement, provide solutions to do so. Responsible for providing updates on Monday RP calls as scheduled. Attend Merchant Services Senior Leadership meetings to provide updates on revenue growth, and as expert on specific projects. Be a key member of the assigned areas Regional President Senior Leadership meetings. 5. Analyze and execute opportunities to reduce risk and increase profitability across the Merchant Services portfolios. Attend biweekly leadership meetings. Develop and present mitigation options with Fraud team for review. Provide Merchant Services expertise from Client perspective. 6. Provide industry expertise to promote card acceptance and keep merchant services top of mind for internal and external leaders. Be seen as the senior team lead and represent the Merchant Services Relationship Management team in Quarterly reviews in Region, RP Monday night calls as well as speaking at conferences and providing insight into the Merchant Services landscape. Have a detailed understanding of the Truist Merchant Services products, platforms and processes. 7. Stay up to date on product enhancements and provide clear updates to your team and the Regions and Partners as appropriate. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Required Qualifications:** The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Undergraduate Degree in a Business disciple or equivalent education and related training. 2. 10+ years Merchant Services industry experience, preferably in sales or account management. 3. 5+ years leadership experience with sales or account management teams. 4. Ability to present and communicate effectively and confidently. 5. Proven experience working across departments, lines of business within large financial organizations. 6. Keep a growth mind set to adapt and resolve escalating complex issues. 7. Must be able to travel **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Industry certifications relating to Merchant Services 2. Master's Degree in Business 3. 10+ years Merchant Services industry experience, preferably in sales or account management The annual base salary for this position is $115,000 - $185,000.
