Merchant Account Executive
**What does a successful Merchant Account Executive do at Fiserv?**
As a successful Merchant Account Executive, you will be responsible for a portfolio of Community Financial Institutions of varying sizes and merchant program adoption. You will develop strategic growth plans and drive retention with the financial institution at multiple levels of leadership, including executive leadership. You will thrive in the client’s office driving lasting results and relationship longevity. Lastly, a successful Merchant Account Executive will increase satisfaction and loyalty for current clients while optimizing and protecting revenue.
**What you will do:**
+ Participate in strategic and tactical initiatives for continued efficiency, with a strong focus on delivery of results.
+ Partner closely with our regional sales teams to ensure we are aligned on the objectives and execution of those.
+ Ensure client retention and control renewal compression to limit the erosion of pricing at renewal.
+ Build, foster, and maintain client relationships to improve visibility of company solutions and develop further growth opportunities.
+ Ensure proactive accountability to the client, leading to an improved client experience and retention.
+ Produce client training, metric performance discussions, and serve as an escalation point.
+ Work in a virtual team setting to coordinate the appropriate resources to meet varying client requirements, including product specialists, solution consultants, and service sales to generate new business opportunities and greater share of wallet with the client.
**What you will need to have:**
+ 5+ years of experience in banking, card processing, merchant processing, check services, prepaid and alternative payments.
+ Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
**What would be great to have:**
+ 5+ years of experience in managing client relationships in a financial or payment services environment.
+ Experience with Salesforce CRM and PowerBI
+ Experience with Microsoft Office - proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
**Important info about this role:**
+ Ability to travel up to 70% of the time and work weekends/evenings, as necessary.

**Salary Range**
$59,500.00 - $126,600.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
