Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Lenexa, Kansas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing vendor relationships, maintaining files, and ensuring accurate data entry. This position requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in various office tools to support efficient operations. Responsibilities: • Accurately input vendor information & invoices and other data using 10-key skills. • Organize and maintain vendor files to ensure easy access and compliance. • Build and manage relationships with multiple vendors, ensuring smooth communication. • Perform calculations and data verification to maintain accuracy in records. • Respond to email correspondence promptly and professionally. • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare and update documents. • Scan and file documents for proper record-keeping. • Provide customer service support related to vendor inquiries. • Type and format documents as required for internal and external use. • Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry with proficiency in 10-key typing. • Strong organizational skills for managing and maintaining files. • Ability to perform accurate calculations and verify data. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for document preparation. • Excellent communication skills for managing vendor relationships and email correspondence. • Experience in scanning, typing, and organizing files effectively. • Customer service skills to handle vendor inquiries professionally. • Ability to multitask and work with multiple vendors simultaneously.
