We are seeking an experienced Merchandising & Receiving Associate who is proactive, dependable, and committed to excellence in execution. You will play a critical role in supporting our store operations, ensuring a seamless flow of merchandise from receiving to shelf, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising:

Maintain an organized backroom and follow all Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) procedures

Use PDT and MMS systems to complete daily inventory and merchandising tasks

Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return processes as directed

Become an expert in assigned inventory categories, including product placement and expiry tracking

Uphold store standards and ensure visual presentation aligns with current image and merchandising trends

Ensure all displays are consumer-focused, well-stocked, and easy to shop

Receiving:

Receive merchandise in accordance with established receiving policies and procedures

Maintain a neat, well-organized backroom environment

Accurately complete all required documentation related to receiving and product returns

Support the Front Store Manager and Assistant Front Store Manager in maintaining store quality and standards

Customer Service:

Present a clean, professional image in accordance with the store’s uniform and dress code policy

Proactively acknowledge and assist customers in the aisles with a friendly and helpful attitude

General Duties:

Comply with all health and safety regulations, loss prevention policies, and store standards

Take initiative and perform additional duties as required to support the team

Qualifications & Skills

Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making abilities

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency when handling cash (if applicable)

Comfortable using computers and POS systems

Self-starter who works well independently and takes initiative without being prompted

Takes pride in their work and contributes positively to the team environment

Working Conditions

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is required

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to climb ladders as needed
