Job Title: Merchandising Retail Associate

Pay: $22.00 an hour

Primary responsibility

Be assertive and have confidence selling of many products Be comfortable serving people Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate Collect payments whether in cash or credit card, redeem coupons Cross-sell products and upsell new products to guests Resolve guests’ complaints, guiding them and providing fair resolutions Greet guests when entering or leaving the merchandise area Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas Bag, box or gift-wrap packages Performs other duties, as required

The ideal candidate will

Need to learn a point-of-sale system and retain information Be comfortable working in loud environment Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture. Note: Employees are responsible for arriving in black pants and shoes (no logos). Be physically able to stand for long hours Understand how to provide excellent customer service and hospitality, and have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings) Work well with others, paying attention to details while working efficiently under pressure Know when to get the help of a supervisor Availability for the entire run in the city Speak English – other languages are an asset Must obtain a Certificate of Fitness for Temporary Indoor / Outdoor Place of Assembly Safety Personnel (F-04).

Physical Demands:

This job may require extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting and kneeling for up to 8 hours. May also lift up to 50lbs.
