Merchandise Associate - University of Michigan-Game Day Staff
The Merchandise Associate will report directly to the supervisor on duty while working closely with the other sales associates & management to deliver legendary customer service surrounding University of Michigan Game Day events. In addition, it will be necessary to be very knowledgeable about the stadium and services in order to assist any and all guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Customer Service – Provide fun and professional environment for teammates and fansProactively greet guests and assist all customersUphold Legends standards and policiesSales – Accurately ring in sales and handle cash amounts in a timely manner on the Point of Sale terminalEnsure that you are educated on the products and services sold throughout the StadiumAssist as directed by your supervisor to ensure that your assigned location is neat, organized, clean and fully stocked for all events and set up prior to eventAssist with stocking of merchandisePerform other duties as assigned by supervisionQUALIFICATIONS
All applicants must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferredEnergetic, self-motivated, warm, and friendly personalityMust be collaborative and a team playerWillingness and drive to exceed guest expectationsMaintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodationBasic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bankMust be able to work in a fast paced and continuously changing environmentAble to bend and squat and walk/stand for extended periods of timeAbility to transport up to 30 lbs on a continuous basisAbility to work independently or in a team during set up and to get tasks done quicklyAbility to communicate effectively with supervisor and guestsMust be flexible to work events at Georgia Tech athletic venues including late nights, weekends, and holidaysPractice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety trainingCOMPENSATION
