We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career - Rewards team at Mercer. This role will be based in Toronto. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including compensation and rewards trends, business strategy, corporate performance, and hiring and retention challengesCombine an understanding of clients’ internal needs with external market practices to help facilitate a client’s go-forward rewards strategy and programsAnalyze clients' strategic, financial, and organizational information to provide insights that will develop into talent strategies and solutionsDesign and implement executive, workforce, and sales compensation structures and incentive plans to align pay and performance with corporate strategic objectivesDevelop and implement job evaluation systems and performance management programsPerform pay equity diagnostics that drive clients’ pay equity compliance strategy for provincially and/or federally-regulated clientsPrepare client reports and presentations, including recommendations presented to senior management, HR leaders, boards of directors, and executivesWhat You Need to Have
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, both quantitative and qualitativeStrong working knowledge of Excel including advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX (MATCH), COUNTIF, AVERAGEIF, etc.) and developing analysis files and dashboardsDemonstrated experience in data analysis and presentation designExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsIntellectual curiosity and a drive to understand “the why”, seeking opportunities to develop deeper understanding and new skillsFlexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and changing client needsSuperior organizational skills and strong attention to detailWhat Makes You Stand Out?
Completing a Bachelor's degree majoring in commerce, business, economics, finance, statistics, accounting, mathematics, psychology or HR preferred by May 2025Consulting, business, finance/banking, accounting, HR, and/or economics internship experience preferredDemonstrated academic excellence with a minimum GPA of 3.0Involvement in extra-curricular activities, clubs and/or sports teams preferredWhy join our team:
