What this job involves:As a Healthcare MEP Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will serve as the owner's representative on project teams, overseeing the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout healthcare facilities. This critical role ensures that complex MEP systems meet all technical requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while providing expert guidance on healthcare-specific MEP systems from design review through commissioning, delivering exceptional value to our healthcare clients.
What your day-to-day will look like:Oversee MEP systems installation including planning, budgeting, scheduling and execution throughout the project lifecycleCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clients, architects, and design engineersConduct comprehensive field inspections to ensure quality control and complianceLead problem-solving efforts to resolve MEP challenges that arise during constructionReview Virtual Design Coordination (VDC) models across all MEP disciplines to ensure access and maintainabilityOversee and coordinate commissioning, Test/Adjust/Balance (TAB), and regulatory complianceEngage with public utilities and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless integrationRequired Qualifications:10+ years of MEP hospital construction experience, plant operations, maintenance, or engineeringKnowledge of healthcare MEP systems (HVAC, mechanical, BAS, medical gas systems, life safety systems)Knowledge of construction processes and building codes relevant to healthcare facilitiesStrong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional team collaborationProficiency in project management software and toolsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesStrong problem-solving skills with ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or similar fieldCertified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) certificationKnowledge of hospital accreditation requirementsExperience with emergency/stand-by generators, automatic transfer switches, and UPS systemsExperience mentoring junior staff and team developmentExperience participating in business development initiativesLocation:
