Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Project Manager to join our team supporting Meta's EMEA Facilities Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of MEP design and implementation across Meta's facilities projects in the EMEA region. You will ensure compliance with Meta's standards, improve design quality, and optimize long-term maintenance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

MEP Design Oversight:

Review and oversee all MEP designs for Meta Facilities projectsEnsure compliance of MEP designs with Meta standards and industry best practicesUpdate the EMEA MEP Basis of Design document as requiredImplement and manage a system to track and address MEP design issues across projects

Project Management:

Attend meetings to oversee progress of MEP installations throughout construction projectsCommunicate project status and progress to Meta EMEA tech services management teamCoordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution


Quality Assurance:

Review and assess technical handover documentation, including Operation and Maintenance manuals, at project completionAttend project close-out meetings to ensure MEP snags and defects are satisfactorily addressedImprove quality and consistency of MEP designs and installations across Meta's portfolio


Technical Advisory:

Establish the team as a trusted technical advisor on MEP systems for Meta facilitiesEnhance Meta's MEP standards and basis of design documentsProvide expert guidance on MEP-related matters to project teams and stakeholders

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement strategies to reduce long-term maintenance issues through improved design oversightStreamline vendor follow-up and reduce escalations by managing all MEP-related activitiesEvaluate and recommend cost-saving measures, such as leasing tools instead of purchasing

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services EngineeringProfessional Engineering license or relevant industry certifications7+ years of experience in MEP project management, preferably in large-scale commercial or tech facilitiesIn-depth knowledge of MEP systems, industry standards, and best practicesStrong understanding of building codes and regulations in the EMEA regionExcellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in project management software and MEP design toolsExperience working with global teams and in a fast-paced environment
