About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineering Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping aspects of a major capital project based in Saxony, Germany. This role will manage design, contractor coordination, procurement, and construction activities within a brownfield environment, ensuring project delivery on quality, schedule, EHS, and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all MEP design coordination and contractor management Lead utility distribution, fire protection, and related services Plan and coordinate shutdowns to minimize production downtime Oversee procurement strategy and contractor selection Ensure compliance with quality, schedule, EHS, and cost objectives Report progress, risks, and issues to Project Manager and senior leadership Collaborate with cross-functional teams and production departments Candidate Requirements: Degree in mechanical, electrical, or process engineering 5–10 years’ experience in major industrial capital projects (€10–50M) Proven experience in brownfield shutdown integration Strong contract negotiation and multidisciplinary coordination skills Fluent in English; good knowledge of German preferred Familiarity with German construction and permitting regulations
