Utilizes specialized training, de-escalation techniques and other interventions as applicable to create a therapeutic and calming environment for patients. Communicates patient mental and/or physical status changes to the primary Registered Nurse and/or Nurse Leader. Completes data collection related to patient care, administers basic treatments and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse, and communicates patient responses to the care provided to the Registered Nurse. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Performs high risk procedures for the department safely, effectively, and according to practice guidelines, as observed through annual skills review. + Ensures patient safety through continuous observations of patient environment including monitoring patient activities, patient belongings, and room items.
