Responsibilities The Mental Health Technician with assist with care and observe mentally ill patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This includes grooming needs and observation of any abnormal behavioral or physical signs. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. At least 2+ years of relevant work and/or personal experience with the seriously mentally ill or individuals with emotional behavior disorders. BLS certification. Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. 1 year of direct patient care experience. Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
